This is a northern trans-continental species for which there is only one Nebraska record. It was found in Keya Paha Co. by Fred Sibley in the summer of 2008. It is brown with yellow spots on the sides of the abdomen. Male cerci each have a diagnostic sharp ventral spine. It is very similar to our other Tetragoneuria baskettails (Common and Dot-winged).
