| The Dot-winged Baskettail (subgenus Tetragoneuria) is brown with yellow spots along the side of the relatively slender abdomen. Some individuals have a distinct row of brown spots on the leading edge of the hindwings, making identification less difficult. However, in other individuals, the spots may be less prominent or entirely absent. It is very similar to our other Tetragoneuria baskettails (Common and Spiny). | Dot-winged Baskettail male |
