Villarrica), Lago Caburga (21 km NE Pucón); X Región de Los Lagos (7): Frutillar Bajo (Universidad de
Chile Forest Reserve), La Unión (34 km WNW), Parque Nacional Puyehue (Lago Puyehue, 2 km W Termas
de Puyehue), Parque Nacional Puyehue (Anticura).
Dellacasa and Stebnicka (2001a) also recorded this species from Neuquén and Río Negro in Argentina. |

Remarks: This distinctive species is rarely collected. The natural history is unknown, with most specimens
being randomly collected in various traps. The male metafemoral peg is unique among aphodiines, and
the female has only recently been described (Dellacasa and Stebnicka 2001). |
