Remarks:

Jimenez-Asua and Martínez (1963) described what they believed to be the male of this species, but what is actually an unknown species from Bolivia very close to Pseudoscortizus incredibilis Arnaud et al. That specimen is apparently located in a defunct private collection in Cuba. All three species are probably congeneric. The Ecuadorean O. rufolineatus differs from either species in having the reddish stripes of the elytra removed from the elyral margin.
