|
This species is known only from a single female specimen from Ecuador: Chiguinda.

Remarks:
|
|
The female specimen was originally part of the type series of Sclerostomus buckleyi Waterhouse, but was not the same species as the male cotype. Weinreich (1963) named the species, and still only one specimen is known. Grossi (2011) moved the species to the genus Onorelucanus, and it is very similar to females of O. pulverosus and O. aequatorianus, but much more heavily punctate.
