Remarks:
This species had been confused for many years as the common C. mniszechii. It is only known from a small area west of Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta in Chile. Very few specimens have ever been collected, and the female of the species is not known. Due to habitat loss in the area this species is probably in need of conservation.
