Diagnosis. Body length 5.5-6.0 mm, elongate, parallel-sided, dark red to black. Head broad with longitudinal rugulae. Pronotum robust, explanate laterally; lateral margin weakly sinuate with dense fringe of short scale-like setae. Pronotal base with wide marginal groove. Elytral base with fifth interval prominent, fifth stria deeply grooved; humeral lobe absent. Meso- and metatibia slender. |
