Diagnosis. Body length 3.5-5.5 mm, oval, robust, reddish brown to black. Head broad. Pronotum usually broad, but not explanate. Pronotum and elytra usually with fringe of short setae. Elytra usually inflexed at interval 8. Meso- and metatibia slender. |

Life History. Some members of Lomanoxoides have been collected with leaf cutter ants, Atta spp. (Stebnicka 1999, Stebnicka and Skelley 2005, Stebnicka 2007). |
