Type species. Euparia laticollis Petrovitz 1973: 181, by monotypy.
                  = Flechtmannia Stebnicka 1999a: 286 [not Flechtmannia Kiefer
                  1979, Acari].

 
 
 
Diagnosis. Body length 5-6 mm, elongate, oval, black, glossy. Head broad. Pronotum explanate anteriorly, narrowing toward rounded base; lateral margin not fimbriate. Elytra distinctly inflexed at interval 9.
 
 
 
Distribution. Brazil.
 
Composition. Flechtmanniella contains a single species.

(Petrovitz 1973: 181), Brazil (Mato Grosso, Sao Paulo).
 
 
 
 
Life History. Reportly found in the ant of a fungus growing ant, Acromyrmex lobicornis (Emery) (Stebnicka 2007).  Some were collected at light.
 
 
 
Larvae. Unknown.
