Diagnosis. Body length 5-6 mm, elongate, oval, black, glossy. Head broad. Pronotum explanate anteriorly, narrowing toward rounded base; lateral margin not fimbriate. Elytra distinctly inflexed at interval 9. |

Composition. Flechtmanniella contains a single species.

Life History. Reportly found in the ant of a fungus growing ant, Acromyrmex lobicornis (Emery) (Stebnicka 2007). Some were collected at light. |
