Type species: Oxyomus morosus Harold, 1869 by original designation.

Diagnosis: The body densely setose and coarsely punctured dorsally. Elytral intervals margined at base.
Pygidium with basal longitudinal groove. Elytra with internal swelling along sutural margin that fits into the
pygidial groove.

|
Remarks: We were unable to study the single known specimen of this genus.
