Miss Yuanyuan Lu is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of
Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. She works under the supervision of Prof. Xing-Ke Yang and Dr. Ming Bai. Her work focuses on the taxonomy of Rutelinae from China, mainly on the subtribe Popilliina for now. She is also interested in scarab fossils and using modern morphological approaches, including geometric morphometrics, Micro-CT, and 3D reconstruction.
