I am conducting research on Scarabaeinae in a wide range of field studies, including feeding aspects and adaptations of dung beetles to using alternative food resources in tropical regions and also landscape ecology associated with distributional patterns. I am also interested in community structure of dung beetles and the conditions that influence the rareness and dominance of species. I am conducting my PhD at INECOL in Xalapa, México, where I am studying terminal inversion behavior, community structure, and physiology of dung beetles influenced by landscape structure.
