Michele Rossini’s research interests are taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Palaearctic and Neotropical beetles, with special emphasis on Scarabaeinae and Geotrupidae. He is currently working on the taxonomy, systematics and biogeography of American Onthophagus, collaborating with Prof. Fernando Vaz-de-Mello (supervisor, Federal University of Mato Grosso, Brazil) and Prof. Mario Zunino (co-supervisor, University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy).
