Latha Mathews Thomas is a biology lecturer at the University of Belize in Central America. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in entomology, and the topic of her research includes the taxonomy and ecology of dung beetles of Nelliampathi in South Western Ghats, India. She is also conducting research on the taxonomy and ecology of dung beetles of Belize.
