John Rogers

John Rogers

John has worked on management and ecology of scarabs in food legumes, especially peanuts (groundnuts), as part of his broader interests in food legume entomology.  His research on scarabs has spanned their control with chemicals and biopesticides, crop yield/ pest density relationships, the identification and use of pheromones in adult management, as well as more basic studies of biology, ecology and population dynamics.  Between 1997 and 2002, he was the leader of an international project on peanut white grubs in Australia and India that was funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.
