Jian-Yue QIU and Hao XU

Jian-Yue Qiu and Hao Xu are researching on Chinese flower beetles in Southwest University and Hunan Agricultural University respectively. Their research interests are the systematics and natural history of Palearctic and Oriental scarab beetles, especially Cetoniinae (including Trichiini and Valgini), and taxonomy of Tenebrionoidea and Cucujoidea as well. They have collected beetles in many nature reserves in China since 2008, and also had a collecting trip to Kyushu and Ryukyu, Japan. They usually bring larvae and females home for breeding and record immature stages and life history.
