Jesús Orozco Araújo

Jesus is the curator of the Entomological Collection at the Escuela Agrícola Panamericana in Zamorano, Honduras. He obtained his PhD in Entomology from the University of Nebraska in 2011 working on a revision of the New World genus Euphoria (Cetoniinae). He then worked in South Africa for two years as a postdoctoral researcher at Rhodes University and for one year at Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University in Tanzania. His research interests are focused on understanding insect diversity using tools from taxonomy, phylogenetics, biogeography, and ecology.
