Jan Beneš completed his
M/S. degree at Charles University in Prague with a thesis on
the morphology of the stridulation organs in beetles belonging
to the family Trogidae. He is interested in the analysis of
acoustic communication in different families of scarabaeoidea
beetles, both between adults and larvae.
