François Génier

François Génier is a research participant with the Coleoptera Section, Canadian National Collection of Insects, Arachnids and Nematodes at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (960 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0C6, Canada) and a member of Association Catharsius, a group of enthusiastic scarab workers pooling their expertise toward a better knowledge of the Afrotropical Scarabaeinae and Aphodiinae. His knowledge of systematics, evolution, and taxonomy of the Scarabaeinae has been augmented by extensive field work in Latin America and more recently in Africa. Current research projects deals with Dendropaemon and Metacatharsius in addition to various others small projects on tropical dung beetles.
