Daniel Clark is an entomologist with the Oregon Department of Agriculture. While he is involved in a variety of insect pest surveys, his primary focus is exotic woodborers (Coleoptera: Buprestidae, Cerambycidae, Scolytidae; Hymenoptera: Siricidae). In addition to these groups, he has a taxonomic interest in Silphidae and especially Scarabaeidae. He completed his MS degree from Wichita State University in 2011 working on the tribe Cyclocephalini (Dynastinae) with Dr. Mary Liz Jameson. Since moving to Oregon, he has taken an interest in braving the winter rains in search of Pleocoma.
