Chris Reid is a research scientist in the Australian Museum, Sydney.  His research interest is in Coleoptera generally, but for the last 25 years he has specialised on the Chrysomelidae, particularly systematics and the taxonomy of the genera.  Chris has also published taxonomic revisions of the Scarabaeinae of Australia and has produced interactive Lucid keys to the Scarabaeinae, Cetoniinae and Anoplognathus (Rutelinae) of New South Wales (http://www.faunanet.gov.au/fauna keys/index.htm).  His current students are chrysomelidologists, but this might be rectified with time.
