A-Young Kim is interested in taxonomy, phylogeny, and conservation of scarab beetles in Korea. Her recent research addresses the phylogeny of the Palearctic Polyphylla species (Melolonthidae) as well as a taxonomic review of Korean Melolonthidae. She is now a researcher at Sungshin Women’s University.
