André da Silva Ferreira is a Ph..D. student working with Dr. Freddy Ruben Bravo and Dr. Paschoal C. Grossi on a phylogeny of the Geniatini and revision of Lobogeniates (Rutelinae) at the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) in Salvador, Brazil. His main interest are the taxonomy, ecology, and geographic distribution of Neotropical Rutelinae. André worked on a checklist of Rutelinae in Bahia State in northeastern Brazil for his M.S. thesis at the Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS) in Bahia State, Brazil, with Dr. Lúcia Massutti de Almeida and Dr. Freddy Ruben Bravo. He provided a checklist and geographic distributions for Rutelinae in Bahia. He also collaborated with Dr. Paschoal C. Grossi. |
