Absolutely Spectabilis!

Dotted with gold, Chrysina spectabilis was
thought to be extinct when scientists found populations thriving in the pine and oak
forests of Cusuco National Park in Honduras. One of the largest of the jewel species, the
beetles spots are actually shallow impressions that appear gold because
of structure, not pigmentation.
