Biological
Data: Found in humid pine-oak or cloud forests between 950-1950
m. Adults attracted to lights and live in tree tops. Males do not use
enlarged hind legs during copulation. Females lay eggs in rotten logs
of Quercus rogosa Nee, and larval development is probably 2
years. Third instar larva was collected July 15/16, pupation took place
between March 23- April 30, and the adult emerged between April 29-May
30 (Morón and Nogueira 2000).
