Biological
Data: Found in montane rain forest between 100-1600m. Not frequently
attracted to lights. Larvae live in rotten logs of Platanus lindendiana,
Liquidambar styraciflua, and Brosimum alicastrum and may
have a 2 year cycle. Larvae found in combination with Macraspis
rufonitida and Chrysina macropus. Larvae emerge from April
to May.
