Distribution: Guatemala, Colombia, and Venezuela. (Hwang 2011).

 

Identification: Hope (1837) and Hwang (2011).

 

Life History: In Calima, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, adults of G. porter are active during April and May. They commonly feed and mate on young stems of Chusquea spp. (Gramineae: Bambusaceae). (Morón and Pardo-Locarno 1994).
