Distribution: Mexico. (Hwang 2011; Morón 1995; Ratcliffe et al. 2013).

Life History: Golofa globulicornis occurs in forests of oak, pine-oak, and in disturbed habitats with forest remnants at elevations of 1,400-2,450 meters. (Ratcliffe et al. 2013).
