Takeshi Matsumoto

Takeshi Matsumoto at the top of Mt. Rokkosan, Minoo City, N. Osaka.

Takeshi is a specialist of Asian Melolonthinae and is interested especially in the rhizotrogine groups. He is now revising the chaotic genus Holotrichia, which includes various heterogeneous species and species groups. Also, Asian other chaotic rhizotrogine genera are his objects for study.

He continues his observations about some common species of Japanese Pleurostict Scarabaeidae in and around Osaka.
