Rafael Clayton Sousa is a student at the Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, and member of the Systematics, Bionomia and Metamorphosis of the Coleoptera's Laboratory. During his master's degree, Rafael worked with a cladistic analysis of Incini (Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae) under the supervision of Dr. Sonia Casari. He is interested in taxonomy, systematics, and geographic distribution of Scarabaeoidea with emphasis on Cetoniinae and morphology of immature stages of Scarabaeidae.
