Jhon César Neita Moreno is a PhD. Student in Natural Science at the Universidad Nacional de la Plata, Laboratorio de Sistemática y Biología Evolutiva, La Plata, Argentina. His thesis is entitled “Análisis filogenético y revisión sistemática de la subfamilia Allidiostomatinae (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae)” He is working in the entomology Lab of IADIZA (Instituto Argentino de Investigaciones de las Zonas Áridas) in  Mendoza, Argentina. His major professor is Dr. Federico Ocampo and his minor pofessor is Dra. Paula Posadas. Jhon is interested in the systematics, biogeogaphy, biology, and distribution of Scarabaeidae in the tropical rain forests, and he likes working with immature stages of Scarabaeoidea. He has conducted research and collecting in Chocó, Colombia where he has found new species and new records for Colombian scarabs.
