Julius Moser

Julius Moser lived in Berlin, and had one of the most species-rich
collections of Cetoniinae and Melolonthinae at the time. He
bought many exotics, and the collection was worth a small fortune.
There were many types in the collection, which was acquired
by the Museum fur Naturkunde in Berlin 1926. Moser described
approximately 250 new species of cetoniines and approximately
40 new species of melolonthines in numerous publications in
German and Austrian journals.
