Ingrid Mattos is the Collections Manager for the entomology collection at the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (CEIOC) at the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She conducts research on the systematics, biogeography, behavior, and ecology of Passalidae with an emphasis in forest conservation. She received her PhD from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in behavioral and systematics studies. She teaches entomology and behavior and is a research collaborator at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
