Eduardo Galante

Dr. Eduardo Galante is a Professor
of Animal Biology at the University of Alicante, where he has
been since 1991. He received a PhD in Biology from the University
of Salamanca in 1978. He is an expert of the Scarabaeoidea of
Spain. Positions he has occupied are:
Secretary of the Scientific and Technological Policy Council
Valencian Autonomous Government, 1990 -1991.
Director General of the Environment, Valencian Autonomous Government,
1992-1994.
President of the Spanish Entomological Association, 1993-1999.
President of the national Commission. Spanish Committee of UICN.
Coordinator of the ERASMUS/SOCRATES Biology program of the University
of Alicante, 1995 to 1999.
Director of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Natural
Resources, 1996 to 1999. |
