Carlos Julian Moreno

Carlos Julian Moreno is an M.Sc Environmental Biologist and college professor. His research concerns functional ecology of dung beetle (Scarabaeinae) and bess beetle (Passalidae) communities of tropical ecosystems and how they response to human activities. He has researched those aspects with a special emphasis on guild conformation, morphology quantification, ecological niche structure and overall ecological response in Colombian Andean forests, mountain forests, tropical rain forests, and riparian forests ecosystems. Actually, he is interested on the influence of anthropic effects on ecosystem services potentially provided by dung beetles communities.
