César Murilo de Albuquerque Correa is a M.S. student in Agronomy at the Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul (Aquidauana, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil). For his Master’s thesis, he is studying the dung beetles (Scarabaeidae) of the the Brazilian Pantanal (wetlands), and investigating the effects of natural and anthropogenic changes on the community structure these beetles. He has also conducted studies on the ecology of dung beetles and Trogidae in introduced and native ecosystems of Brazil. In general, César Murilo is interested in the biology and ecology of Scarabaeoidea as a whole, but particularly Neotropical dung beetles.
