Andrew Smith is a Research Associate of the Canadian Museum of Nature and the University of Nebraska State Museum. His research interests include the systematics, phylogenetics, biogeography, and conservation of scarab beetles. Andrew has completed numerous revisions on genera of Melolonthinae and Rutelinae, especially from the Neotropics. His current research is focused on the survey and inventory work on the scarabs of southern South America and Canada.
