PLANNING AND RESEARCH TRIP TO MEXICO

September 2005
Brett Ratcliffe

In preparation for a proposal to the National Science Foundation for conducting a biotic inventory of the Dynastinae of Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize, Brett Ratcliffe and Mary Liz Jameson (University of Nebraska), Ron Cave (University of Florida), and Enio Cano (Universidad del Valle de Guatemala) traveled to Xalapa, Mexico in September 2005 to consult with Miguel Morón (Instituto de Ecología). This effort to create a plan of work was worthwhile, since the proposal to NSF to conduct this new research was funded in 2007.
