Jen completed her M.S. degree in 2015 at the University of Nebraska. She received the 2015 Edwards Prize given by the Coleopterists Society for the best published work by a Masters student for her revision of the genus Hoplopyga (Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae: Gymnetini). After serving for a year as the Collections Manager for NewMexico State University’s Arthropod Museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico, she is now employed as an outreach educator at the University of Nebraska State Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska.
