Diagnosis. Body length 1.5-7.0 mm, elongate, parallel-sided, somewhat flattened, reddish-brown to black, glossy. Head broad, convex. Clypeus lacking teeth, surface finely punctate, rarely granulate. Pronotum rectangular or subquadrate, not much broader than head; some narrowly explanate at lateral margin. Elytral striae coarsely punctate. Meso- and metatibial apex with 1-3 accessory spines; some with median transverse carina on tibia. Abdominal sternites coalescent, sutures complete and usually fluted. |
